If you’re going to Kiyosato, you won’t want to miss Daigaharajyuku in Hokuto City
Daigaharajyuku flourished as an old post town that connected Edo Nihonbashi to Shinshu Shimosuwa on the Koshu Kaido Road. Even now, the town has still kept its Edo era appearance, and because of this, it was selected in the”100 Ancient Roads of Japan”. The streets are lined with breweries and sweet shops where you can enjoy a stroll down an ancient road of the past.
