Rice Field Art Kumagaya / Gyoda

Saitama > Gyoda

Known as the “World’s Largest Rice Paddy Art”, this work of art uses various types of rice seeds to create pictures. The best time to see it is in mid-July when the rice ears start to shoot out and change color. Since the drawing was mapped out from the 50 meter (164 ft)-tall observation tower, it is the best spot to view the rice field.
