Yokohama Sankeien Garden

Kanagawa > Yokohama

Traditional Japanese garden with 170,000㎡ space founded by a business man ‘Hara Sankei’ who accumulated a fortune, in 1906. Old historical architects moved from Kyoto or Kamakura were reconstructed here in ‘Yokohama Sankei Garden’. It is also known as a famous spot for plum, cherry blossom trees and autumn foliage. The harmony of historical architects with seasonal nature is magnificent. From late March to early April, you can see full-bloomed cherry blossom trees and at night, you can feel the essence of Japanese culture with night cherry blossoms and ‘sanjyunodou’ with the lights up.

Check out for the details for lights up and opening hour here.
