Autumn Leaves at Tanzawa Lake

Kanagawa > Yamakita

Tanzawa Lake preserves the harmony of the natural environment with a man-made lake thanks to the construction of the Miho Dam in 1978. Known as a famous spot for seeing autumn foliage, Chiyosekawa Park has an observation deck that overlooks the lake and a beautiful view of both sides of Mt. Fuji. In fact the view from the observation deck is listed under the “Hundred Views of Mount Fujii” by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism. You can also enjoy boating, cycling, fishing or camping near the lake.
