There is an enormous “cascading sakura” (cherry tree),it is estimated to be over 1,000 years old and the circumference of the trunk is approximately 11 meters. One of Japan’s “three greatest cherry trees”, this is a national designated natural treasure.

By train: 6.3 km from Miharu Station on the Ban'etsu Tousen Line *Expect traffic jams during the cherry blossom season. During cherry blossom season, sightseeing coaches run from Miharu station.
