If you’re going to Ibaraki, be sure to stop and pick some fruit!
Ibaraki is known as the “Kingdom of Fruits” for its many tourist farms. You can pick fruit practically all year round like strawberries (from late December to the end of May), blueberries (from June to August) and pears, grapes, chestnuts and persimmons (from summer to fall).
