Ibaraki > Tuchiura

This is the largest lake in eastern Japan and the second-largest in all of Japan, and it offers a wide variety of activities. One of these is cycling, and there’s even courses going around the lake and toward Mt. Tsukuba. Enjoy touring the surface of the lake in an amphibious car, pulling a parachute behind a boat for parasailing, and other water leisure activities that are only available in the summer.

From Tokyo Station, Tsuchiura Station is an approximately 50-minute ride by Limited Express on the JR Joban Line, and from Tsuchiura Station, the site is an approximately 5-minute walk.
