Kusatsu Hot Springs
It’s said that so long as you’re not hurting from heart break, Kusatsu Hot Springs can cure any illness. During the Edo Period (1603-1868), the onsen banfu listed the top hot spring spots as Arima Onsen in the west and Kusatsu Onsen in the east. Even now, Kusatsu Hot Springs is considered as one of the three most famous hot springs in Japan with a number of people wanting to take a dip in its refreshing baths. It is also a symbol of Gunma Prefecture. Boasting the largest amount of natural hot spring water and with the quality of water being second to none, Kusatsu Hot Springs creates a wonderful onsen atmosphere.
