Winter at Oshima
The climate from Oshima Island comes from the southeast offshore of Izu Peninsula so it is warm even in winter. You’ll feel like you’re at a resort since you can enjoy hiking, cycling, hot springs, and the fruits of the sea like delicious local fish fare at your hotel for dinner. As camellia flowers are Oshima’s specialty, the island hosts an annual camellia festival from January to March.
