Lake Okutadami

Niigata > Uonuma

A dam lake boasting the largest water storage capacity in Japan. It is traveled by pleasure boats, and when there is fresh greenery in the spring, or colored leaves in the autumn, there is a vivid contrast between the mountain and the lake. It is the main gateway to Oze National Park from the Niigata side.
